Thanks tardey. One moment the argument is that there will be too many mines, the next argument is that the mine will be too short-lived. Someone should let them know that the 25 years is only for a fraction of the resource (or maybe don't).

Years of stakeholder meetings only to delay and attempt to shaft the company at the very end by weaponising a zoning plan, something that should just be a box-ticking formality. I would say it's unprecedented, but they tried this on LKAB in 2020. A dangerous situation if allowed to stand that essentially usurps the Swedish court system. Definitely not what you want to happen if you're looking to entice investment for Sweden's green transition. I fully expect the government to correct this.
