I don't generalise about muslims Cheech, but this latest incident in Kashmir is typical of the extreme Taliban style of Islam. Such violence has been endured by women and also moderate muslims for decades at least. Islam itself must tackle this un-Islamic crime but unfortunately violence creates fear among reformers or those who believe in true Islam.
Pious and fundamentalist muslims seek to establish religious law. Law which is a literal transfer from 1400 years ago.
