There has been a continious Jewish presence in Israel or Palestine, since the days of the first exile.
Look up some of the cencus reports and you will find that Jews in the 1880's constituted the majority of citizrens in Jerusalem.
How so, if the place was full of Palestinian Arabs?
The answer is simple. The majority of the Palestinians there were Jewish Palestinians.
Do you understand the concept of the term Jewish Palestinians? In case you don't we have for example Jewish Australians. They are Jews who live in Australia.
Jewish Palestinians are Jews who live in Palestine... simple.
The only hiccup is that today, when someone mentions Palestinians they are automatically presumed to be Arabs.
But not 60-70 years ago....or ever before then.
Anyway, I think this is all above your willingness otr capacity to understand.
