The Australian IS a paper of quality. Not often does one come across content which isn't factual or well-reasoned. Their Business section, Inquirer and World are up there with the best.

The weakest perhaps have been fanciful articles by Greg Sheridan speculating on, for example, God's plan for mankind in the Universe (more fantasy than speculation IMO), and maybe a couple of under-developed ideas on climate change by environmental editor Graham Lloyd.

I like the fact that they ALWAYS seek contributions from articulate Left proponents, which is completely contrary to the absurd narrative of some here on HC who bundle every publication as being a 'Murdoch Mouthpiece.' They've been giving Philip Adams the final say for decades in the Weekend Australian, ffs.
