Political correctness (adj, perjorative): a mechanism by which many of our leaders assert their sense of moral or intellectual superiority by avoiding language that may offend minorities. Other descriptive terms may include cowardice, gutlessness, or lying.

We have had 2 innocent people killed in the centre of our biggest city and recently many other such attacks in other countries have cost many more lives. The killer displayed an ISIS flag, described himself as a cleric and has been touted as a hero by his Islamic fans.

Despite all this we are urged by the media to believe that this person was a "lone wolf" an "unhinged individual" a bad apple if you will. Personally, I find Murdoch's tweet to be both reasonable and logical.

The more people in this country indulge in all this PC bs, the more annoyed become the people who can see things for what they really are.

Avoiding the truth of the situation just delays any road to closure or action. At least Murdoch can see it for what it is and has the balls to say so.

This issue isn't just going to "go away" as much as our  leaders hope that it will. Australians are a pretty apathetic bunch and clearly crave the quiet life that is synonymous with a free country.....well..... Sometimes those freedoms have to be protected. Pretending that we have no issue is just avoiding a future confrontation.
