Have been sitting up watching the MP's questioning the Murdochs, when around 2 hrs in during the last few questions someone lunged at Rupert Murdoch, which was quickly intercepted by his wife Wendy Deng ( with a good right hook, mind you) who had been sitting behind him and other security rushed over. They called a 10 min break while someone was actually apprehended. Turned out he was hit with a cream pie!
The questioning then resumed. James Murdoch did an excellent job in his replies and also stepping in and handling some answers on behalf of Rupert Murdoch, who it appears was advised to try and keep a back seat, his son being the better speaker.
Not making a judgement on what was right or wrong, however the questioning was very tough and persistent, but was well handled, albeit often evasive.
As far as what the actual truth is , is a matter for their consciences, and further investigations.
No matter what transpires, the can of worms have been let out, and why would the UK be alone in this type of journalism...............wait for those worms to travel world wide
