Yeah agree its much of muchness right between the platforms but the big unknown question is do they just want a betting company or is this part of a bigger plan to integrate with live sports. If this tie up between Newscorp and Fox goes ahead, and you look at the direction that fox is taking its really about News and live sports (with bits around that). If they want to squeeze those margins instead of talking about X sportsbetting company they would just be pushing their own, but to do that they would want complete control over the platform. Watching some of the UFC you can see where they are heading, with some guy basically breaking down the betting odds before a fight (What the best odds are, round finish etc etc etc). You can really see the ability to then have live betting and promotions pop up on screen.
