Hi all
Next section we will encounter is the lower carbonates still in the Muribeca Fm and also known as the Ibura Member. This is a secondary target in this formation and if you look at the mud log i posted in the "muribeca fm upper carbonates" thread from a couple of days ago and look at the oil shows form 1200m to about 1250 you will notice that the shows are not as prevalent as the shows in the upper carbonates. Also the porosity in this section was lower than the upper carbonates at 19%. The oil that was tested when swob testing was conducted in August last year had an 24 degrees API.
Ok now although that little run down isn't that bullish Tatu1 was drilled on the flank so on and up-dip appraisal anything can happen and like chrispainter i still very much hold the faith.
Best of luck all
Cheers
Ciggys
