According to one very annoyed fish representative told me today that some smaller Murray Cod farmers are complaining that MCA has dropped their live fish prices by $4 per kilo when there is no need to and are concerned that MCA & their associates are using their market power to push smaller farmers to the wall. They are looking at getting #ACCC to investigate the reasons for these actions.Can you afford your margins to be squeezed by $4 per kilo? How will you explain these actions to the shareholders on the #ASX when a lot of promises were made during your various capital raisings. Is the plan to corner the market by dropping wholesale prices or are these actions one rogue distributor operator?
Anyone know what is going on to clarify the situation ?
