Hi cerhob, the thing with say cubbie station is that huge holding dams have been built to trap flood water that is much needed further downstream, you can google earth it if you like and see how huge they are, i used to go pig hunting on woolerbilla station just downstream, cubbie is about 30klm south west of dirranbandi in sw qld.
