Murray Watt clears path for North West Shelf gas decision

The concerns of environment groups challenging a major Woodside gas proposal off the Western Australia coast have been formally rejected by Environment Minister Murray Watt, clearing the decks for a final decision before the end of next week.

I think now that the election is over, and the Greens have been wiped out in the House of Representatives, Labor will start to approve these projects to be developed - because even though we have a lot of gas resources, most of it has already been sold, so domestically, especially over East, they are at critically low levels.....and Port Kembla has been delayed by at least a year.
