Would have thought blood thinners would have reduced the likely hood of clotting with a DVT .
A DVT is worse than cramps as the pain is there all the time - had one of those a year ago , picked it up with ultra sound , can be deadly if not picked up and treated quick enough as the clot can go to the lungs , brain or heart , easy to identify with an ultrasound test of the leg , mine was at the back of the knee , eventually it broke up without any further problems exercise helped .
