Note Page 6. 12482 - S&T Activities in Support of the Canadian Small Arms Replacement Program Mr. Paul Harris, DRDC Valcartier

Yes, the same Paul Harris linked to here : www.dtic.mil/ndia/2011smallarms/wednesdayweapons12482harris.pdf

The number 12482 is his presentation ID.

As discussed in the bulletin released by Metal Storm, the presentation, entitled "S&T Support to the Canadian Small Arms Replacement Program" on July 1st, was published by Defence Research & Development Canada to attendees at the NDIA International Infantry & Joint Services Small Arms Symposium, Exhibition and Firing Demonstration in Indianapolis, IN, USA from 23 to 26 May, 2011. The presentation identifies the Soldier Integrated Precision Effects System (SIPES) Technology Demonstration Project, which is labelled as being financed. The presentation identifies (on Slide 8), five different concepts for the physical layout of the SIPES Integrated Infantry Combat Weapon (ICW). On the same slide it states the following: "Secondary effects module (shotgun, programmable ammunition of different calibers), for all options based on Metal Storm technology"

Now take a look at pg 8. of the Onsite Agenda.pdf linked to above ... Metal Storm attended the Poster presentations area 16 of the Poster section. So, they were in attendance at the same conference that Paul Harris attended, in which he mentioned Metal Storm technology will be used in the small arms replacement program as part of his presentation, and they failed to notice until it was brought to their attention by a share holder. This was a symposium; people walk around, they talk, and they attend each other's presentations ... come on, really?

Metal Storm, you do realise that Paul Harris had a similar presentation LAST YEAR on the SIPES program. His slide was dated 25th May 2010 www.dtic.mil/ndia/2010armament/WednesdayLandmarkBPaulHarris.pdf at this conference

Page 11. Lists Metal Storm as potential international partner. Come on, really? you only learned about this months later and released a bulletin because it was just brought to your attention by a shareholder?

here is Metal Storm's press release from July 1st 2011:

Furthermore, you may recall last year that it was apparent the USMC WAS evaluating MAUL https://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=5&ved=0CFsQFjAE&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.trngcmd.usmc.mil%2Fcomcam%2FComCam%2520Documents%2Fkeywords%252010.1.10.xls&ei=q3vdT6W-H6eZiAec5uCyCg&usg=AFQjCNHpY-UNGztfJn14D36WhCD8SRQ6MQ&cad=rja

    (see attached image below)

We know an officer specialising in weapons and tactics instruction was running the evaluation of the MAUL in 2010.

My concern right now is why the market was not told the MAUL was being evaluated by the USMC Training Command.

Why do we hear about trial weapons sales to Canada and not to USMC? I would LOVE to hear a response to this. If Canada warrants a bulletin, then so does USMC; both are equally market sensitive are they not?
