I've never read a technical spec on mach 5/50, (only perhaps what moosey has written from time to time), so my technical explanation above was me trying on some old school physics using 'my gut' - no doubt there is probably a pressure release system in the final product somewhere, (and a crucial seal system used as well), but I was aiming for a first principles understanding and wrote what I think it is, which seems to hold water -- maybe consult a wiki pge somewhere
