If I recall correctly Fred said he had rejected several offers that were substantially above the current market value at that time (i.e. higher than now). He said at the time that there was a lot of interest from big players but that he had no intention of selling until the product was well launched as a commercial product. That indication from the source is what I have been going on for a while.
