It's all well and good to decry the lack of community involvement by the industry, which I am certain doesn't extend to Metgasco, however regardless of how enthusiastically they tried to educate the public they were repeatedly denounced as being 'self-interested' and dishonest.
Besides, what has happened has happened. The industry is no longer in a position to retake the narrative. The only group capable of this is government, and they need to act now.
