Pretty well sums up today's offerings. As a boomer I love the music we had in the 60's and early 70's, I think "pop" music's zenith was probably represented by albums like Rubber Soul and Revolver. The calendar at our local entertainment centre MANPAC features almost exclusively tribute artists from the period; Diamond, Streisand, Beatles, Eagles etc which says a lot. Have to say though, that WASO's rendition of "Scheherazade" on Sunday gave me goosebumps and a tear or two; pop music has never done that. The audience looked like the demograph you'd find on a Princess Cruise; shame really.
