I don't understand this "favour" that Musk is supposedly doing. I'm a Twitter user and all I see is a new level of chaos, abuse and value destruction. I guess he has the right to destroy the company now that he owns it but users will simply move on to a new platform that suits them. I have already started my migration to a platform that suits my interests. Popular social web sites have come and gone in the past (remember AOL, GeoCities, Google+, MySpace). No operator has any obligation to cater to extremists, haters and those whose stock behaviour is abuse and threat mixed with lies. Without moderation and restraint, any social media site will become a unworkable cess pit. If you don't like their approach, don't use the product.

Right now, Mr Musk is simply providing lots of free entertainment to those he apparently holds in contempt.
