    Having put so much time and money into Lithium batteries, it might not be that easy for Musk to make the switch to VRF at this late stage.

    Besides, Sumitomo Electric are a global giant in their own right, as are SMS the backers of TNG's TIVAN processing technology. They have the same ambition as Musk and won't be standing aside while he makes his move in Australia.
