Avoca Resources Limited (Avoca) is pleased to announce that the recent infill drill program at its exciting Musket Prospect has intersected additional shallow, high grade gold mineralisation, confirming it as a new outcropping gold discovery at its 100% owned Higginsville Gold Project, located in Western Australia.

Musket is the second grass roots discovery of near surface, high-grade gold mineralisation made by Avoca in the Higginsville gold district, after the Wills discovery in 2007. Avoca believes the highly endowed nature of the Higginsville gold district will continue to yield exploration success and on that basis has committed $11 million to its FY2008 exploration budget.)
