[ There is no need for science & technology, and Aristotlian thought - be damned, as the prophet has foretold the virtuous path...]

His dogma defeated the thinking of two other Brilliant Arab enlightened scholars, Averroes & Maimonides (A Jew), and the Imans ran with his prescriptions.

Prescriptions that have cast a shadow across the Arab/Islamic world ever since.

A path that had no need for more than minarets, muezzins and a tedious & continuous call to prayer all qiblaed to his glorious kaaba.

Thank Allah for the oil deposits, laid down in the Permian, for without it - Islam would be a nothing but a boy-scout's code of rubbish Allah's path is a need for Kentucky Fried Chicken, Pumpkin Pie and almost all Western Bling, but with a total cluelessness on how to create the stuff.

So the only way sadly ... is for the Mohammedans to go to the mountain, rather than let the mountains come to the Mohammedans.
