Saudi Arabia has formed a military coalition of 34 Muslim States to fight ISIS and other terrorist groups.
Countries involved in the coalition aside from Saudi Arabia, include Jordan, the UAE, Pakistan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Benin, Turkey, Chad, Togo, Tunisia, Djibouti, Senegal, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Somalia, **on, Guinea, the partially-recognized state of Palestine, the Islamic Federal Republic of the Comoros, Qatar, Cote d’Ivoire, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Maldives, Mali, Malaysia, Egypt, Morocco, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Yemen.
All the HC commentators that have been calling for Muslim countries to do more, will no doubt be thrilled with this development. If not it will show a mischievous intent.
The boots on the ground will come from Muslims with airpower from the Western coalition and maybe Russia.
Very wise for world leaders not to send in ground troops as ultimately its the Muslims themselves that need to be seen to be doing the hard yards in their own region. Those that wanted to send our troops into harms way fortunately were treated with the contempt they deserved.
