That was not what was being debated here. It was the claim made by Dave that
"............................................... marriage is legal from 14 in many US states."
He has not named the "many US states" and has not put any condition as in but only in the rare case where "judicial consent" may be given.
That is the dishonesty of which I write about Dave R's posts.
They are incomplete for a purpose, designed to hide reality. The proportion of young girls of 14 who are married?
That would be absolutely tiny. But he just sounds off with partial truths or those which do not stand up to a more honest appraisal.
