Yes. The Swiss are very strict and rightly so. What is the point of having laws in place and not enforcing them as we do here? People here break the law and their feeble excuses are accepted to allow them to. Cultural difference is no excuse for not abiding to the laws of this or any other country. Female genital mutilation is one example. It is illegal here, but it still happens and with no consequences. Our authorities are weak.
