I would argue that halting Muslim immigration into Australia will go further in protecting Australian society as a whole and, in particular, the Muslims who do live in Australia now. Sometimes, all it takes for a situation to become clearer is to do nothing for a while and let things settle. There is no doubt that there is an inflamed situation concerning Muslims in Australia at present, so surely the answer is to not add more Muslims.
