The truth is that the Jewish people are indigenous to the land of Israel and achieved self determination there over 3000 years ago. Romans expelled the majority of Jews in 70CE but the Jewish people have always been present in the land of Israel, Muslim civil wars in the 8th and 9th century pushed many Jews out of their country.
