tis rare to change someone's views -------------- but, common to draw them out of the woodwork to show their stupidity

it's quite an important role these days because traditional media has lost in the information dissemination race - social media is top dog now

and whilst common sense, decency, logic and fact are in very short supply and the crazies are gaining power-

it has to be somewhat useful to put their stupidity on display

one day, when people wake up that they have been poking themselves in the eyes with sharp sticks - they might then recall through the pain 'someone said something about this - that this could happen'

why the hell should we prevaricate in posts when we are adequately anonymous. our true selves can be unleashed in this milieu.
yet here we can argue or completely bs as much as we like and enjoy the cut and thrust with the most adverse contenders.

yep social media is wearing the purple.
