The only way a person could be elected in an Australian Federal election with such a small support base is via the Senate as an Independent.
Independents have zero power to introduce controversial laws on anything let alone Sharia Law.
If someone wants to run in Western Sydney as a pro Palestine Independent let them, maybe they can force the current government to grow some balls & get off the fence.
