Why do any of you care about this shit?
These arcane laws related to guns really exist only in the US.
You all (presumably) live in Australia or have Australian residency.
If they want to shoot themselves, whether rightly or wrongly, that's on them.
Why do you care?
As an Australian now living in Canada, I'm just thankful that Howard, Trudeau (and Ardern) had the gall to take most of these off the street in our wonderfully, relatively safe countries.
If the crazies down south want to go on Grant Theft Auto-style rampages, be my guest. I'll be watching the news with the most buttery popcorn I can find. Doesn't matter to me.
