the beauty of post ww2 migration, is that it did not take long before 99% of people integrated and simply became australians. sure - the original post ww2 migrants had their social clubs, churches , and sporting teams - based upon ethnic lines - but 2nd and 3rd generation offspring readily intermarried, and apart from surnames, most have become part of a homogenous australian nation... where the girls like to go to the beach in bikinis, and the guys like to ogle them.
