Do you really think the kids said this???? I think the kids said, "Dad, everyone is doing an Easter Egg hunt, could I do it with them PLLLLLLLEEEEEEAASSSE!"
The parents are the ones who feel uncomfortable with this.
Anyway who says Muslims don't want to or aren't capable of changing our culture only need to read this article.
I can remember vividly painting eggs and doing Easter orientated events at school. I can also remember how exciting it was to decorate the classroom before going on holidays at Christmas. They are not just religious holidays on our calendar, the are significant holidays and days in our lives.
Next there will be calls for no Easter and Christmas holidays because they offend school kids (cough cough parents).
This is what really frustrates me about immigrating a culture that clearly finds our culture and religion offensive.
