a church in florida warns at the door that many of the congregation carry and if anyone tries to do damage they will be shot. even the pastor has a concealed permit.

there was another event that took place in the us - two christian speakers, one an iranian who converted to christianity from islam had someone enter the conference with a bag load of weapons, including pistols, rifles and what appeared to be kalishnikovs. he broadcast this on facebook. one condition of entry was that no cameras or phones were to be used. this bloke took a camera and filmed the koran he was carrying then went outside and filmed what he had in his bag which were the firearms and as he was doing so uttered "be afraid" or similar as he pulled each one out.
this was reported but the police would not or could not do anything nor could or would the civil authorities as they determined that he was legal.
