I saw a very good documentary on Ch32 SBS Viceland tonight. A documentary that the ABC would obviously be jealous of for it's insight and professionalism.
Title : Terror
The doco was about the TPP (Taliban) in Pakistan and the general populations abject distain for that destructive mob.
The doco covered a lot of local issues but the pervading theme was the fact that the majority of Pakistanis want the eradication of the Taliban from their country so that they can continue to have their children educated to western standards and to be fee of the repressive Talibani dictates of Sharia and the brutality of the suicide bombings and murder of women and children.
The overriding message from the documentary was that the population wish to live in peace and that they are absolutely sick and tires of the incursions of tis barbaric and murderous mob into their lives.
We hear a lot about the Pakistani Muslims and their apparent support for such barbarians. However, that is far from the truth and it was refreshing to hear that most of the population only want peace and freedom from these barbarians.
I recommend the documentary to you as an educational insight into the minds of most Pakistanis in their desperate plight against the extremely ruthless cult of Taliban, a cult who apparently even Al-Qaida disown !
