Pints let's talk about the real world and how it works in business that employ 10 or less people who are our biggest category of employer in OZ. if a worker comes to a business owner and would like to finish work at noon because they are going away for a weekend and don't want to travel after dark, most owners will be happy to oblige. If that same employee says "do not contact me after work hours because that is the law" owners will be less likely to work in with employees on that basis which will lead to employees taking sickies which is not great for either and is morally wrong as they are using a employee benefit under false pretences.
