Given comments from eg. yourself and Capital 3517, I would appreciate comments from anybody on the following:

I would have thought that the Bakrie group may havebeen behind PLN not renewing this PPA , thereby putting pressure on EWC toagree to whatever the Bakrie group may have had in mind. . If that is the case,it appears that this tactic has not worked so far. Can they pull any otherlevers? According to EWC 2022 AR report (page 16), EWC owns 51% of the SengkangPSC (ie. no veto power for EMA). Yes, EMA has leverage, but that is all. Giventhat PGN gas recently been able to buy gas from the Sengkang PSC, I would havethought that EMA’s leverage is limited, if at all realistic. A resolution toall of this may well depend on the content of the letter of financial support EWC has received from EWI (page 56, EWC 2022 AR).

Other than the ‘locals’, interested parties re: gasbeing sold from this PSC include EWC, EMA, SKKMigas, South Sulawesi Government,residents, (future) employees etc.
