5.8 cents now represents a 33% discount (to 8.7). I did ask yesterday, but no-one commented: as I understand it the proposal to be voted on was for up to 500,000 shares at a price of 80% of the previous 5 trading days, NOT at 5.8 cents per share. The 5.8 cps was mentioned as part of the announcement that heralded FAR's reinstatement to quotation (FAR to raise $34m to Fund West African Exploration). If the SP keeps going up, and stays up, and particularly since it is only an explanation, and a not very detailed one at that, I don't know how sure I would be of getting more at 5.8 cents.
Anyone care to comment?
