yes if im selling i typically dont' show it on a low volume stock i just hit the depth. Same if i am buying. that is what CB did - can you imagine putting in a sell order for 3m at the current sell price - it would scare people you just have to hit the depth. But theres no getting around that you need the depth there f you want to sell a big volume - you can't drip sell 3million when average daily volume is nowhere near that. Now if sentiment changes to worse large holders are going to be stuck
