ok so AMP has US$200 million in A shares, the total value of A shares is about $500 billion x 140% gain since last july = $700 billion total. Not much of the whole market...

but this says estimates about only $10billion is gonna be liscensed to foreign investors?

tiny part of the market again. How is an amount of money only about 1-2% of the market value gonna help boost it significantly? Domestic growth will still be responsible for any changes, and the government still has a stranglehold!

Owell, I guess it is China, and they ARE gonna emerge as the richest country in the world in few decades. 9% per annum economic growth aint bad.
