It then has many more minor but still significant products and by-products.
Does anyone really think that there will not be ongoing demand for those products in the medium to long term - ie 3 to 15 years. They are required to make the world go round.
As a world, we are still highly reliant on those core and old fashioned productions; and with depressed prices alternative products (eg new composites and alternative energy production methods) are less likely to be commercialised in the next year or two IMO.
