Must the Liberals join the ALP in the gutter

Leaving aside whether Shorten or Porter are rapists there has been a stark difference in how the parties have handled the situation.

When Shorton was in the frame the Liberals didn’t put the boot into him. They followed the Queensby rules.

The ALP has thrown everything at Porter.

It increasingly seems the Liberals need to realise they are in a no holds barred fight.

If the ABC shafted the ALP as it does the Liberals it would have been gutted long ago.

The Liberals need to toughen up.
