"When we went back to Europe a couple of years ago, I though the turbines were quite majestic; a tribute to man's engineering skills and aesthetic design. For about three weeks. After that they began to look more and more like a plague, infesting the countryside and de-beautifying it. "

Me also, see one by itself and I think they are graceful - but when you see hundreds of the bloody things - well, it's a bit like those cute little birdies that visit - at first they are cute, but when you get all their mates, the din is obnoxious and you have birdcrap everywhere.

Spanners, what I am saying is that a world who actively makes and has on purpose detonated atomic and necular weapons - and has indeed used them against humans - and have allowed unnecessary financial toys to threaten the economics of the world - looks pretty dammed stupid to be thinking of the 'economic' cost of a neuclear accident.

At least with neuclear power we can run the fridge.

    Have a great day all

    Pinto.
