Any important decision as knee jerk as this was bound to be a disaster.
Why, in the name of god would you ban nuclear because some dumb engineering decisions made in Japan more than likely by Yank engineers decades ago - old technology in absolutely the wrong place open to high risk conditions?
That's like banning cars because someone crashes a 1950's Hillman Minx and kills people - what the hell has that got to do with modern cars?
I have toured a lot of the wind sites in Germany and have friends in the industry - it is ridiculous.
Personally, I see the popular arguments against them of noise and birds to be irrelevant - but when you see the numbers of the things and their gross ineffiency - different matter.
