AT LAST ....Minotaur Exploration advises that drilling commenced today on the Mutooroo magnetite targets, 90km south-west of Broken Hill. Eight holes have been designed to test 5 magnetite-bearing sedimentary packages within the Braemar Iron Formation, to downhole depths of 200-300m each, using a multi-purpose UDR 1000 drilling rig. A total of 1600m of RC and 300m of diamond core is intended. Extensive rains throughout the Broken Hill region since late last year prevented heavy equipment access, until now.
