The kW versus kW.hrs is a bit fussy and its just to clarify things, What is important in this argument is the purpose of the battery. if its a 100MW for 15 minutes its no place for redflow or any flow battery. If its say 25 MW for 12 hours that would be where a big flow battery would smash on economics, the lithium batteries. As stated before the competitors are not other batteries for this size but other energy storage schemes.

Community hubs are where I see the domestic use of redflows where the load is more consistent due to a variety of end users and where the load can also be managed by intelligent load management schemes. Its a bit like energy socilaism but that's where we are heading.
