I think its bit of apples and oranges, but the reason i back redflow is that you dont need a bms to control a 10kw pack.....in a tesla pack for example you have a bms that has to be on every string. So 24v tesla packs are common, that means 7 or 8 strings per pack , all having to be balanced by the bms so they dont overcharge or undercharge and stop the battery cells from essentially blowing up by being overcharged if one of the strings is weak or over discharged. The risk is , and its a really common problem with power tools and the like , is that the bms fails . Then on top of that you have this massive number of cells in parrellel to get it up to its output.....the zbm is just one cell, with one pump and liquid that doesnt degrade or blow up if it gets to hot or over discharged because of either a cell failure or a bms failure
