I have continued looking for evidence that Kala can deliver electricity without TX lines , and decided it is unlikely. But I hope I am wrong so new TX lines won't be urgently required any time soon. Once Kala establish the Data Centres as profitable business, it won't matter anyway.

TLOU really was made for them ...

1. Plentiful land (6 times the size of Greater London) , for Solar, accommodation of different types, and extra wells at the three sites.
2. Existing gas flows are proven with Kala's pok so no hold ups there.
3. A 100Km distribution network to the National Grid and beyond which awaits some electricity before the final commissioning can be completed (95%+ several months ago). The 5% will be dramatically lowered by using the pok to produce the electricity. The old plan was get higher gas flows, order compatible generators, take delivery and commission them , and complete the peripheral equipment, before handing the lines over to BPC.
4. The TX lines are now the tallest hurdle and Kala seem obliged to deal with them urgently.
5. TLOU can relax until the gas flows reach their chosen generators needs. But they will have the TX lines fully commissioned, tested and adopted by BPC by then.

Will BPC have adopted the lines by the time TLOU are ready for them?
We hope so! Kala's time-scales are a breath of fresh air and the Govt will surely want to help them time-wise , before they decide to search other countries for their flagship site.

Basing the price around $18 USD will be attractive compared to current costs of $30+. I expect everyone involved in this to back it 100% - all of them will be winners , long term and short.
