Yes revenue is important for legitimacy and demonstrating a business that is headed in the right direction. But @qinjun88 has a point, at this stage of development and within an emerging sector that is breaking down established norms, the stories, hype, excitement, FOMO call it what you will, drives investor and insto buy in. Now when you combine the fundamentals with the stories / hype / excitement, the SP will rocket. When that wave goes back out, the rocket goes in reverse as we saw post VC failure
