The systemic sell down as you call it, is a direct reflection of the lack of confidence investors have in the management of MXC.
That's it in a nut shell. They flogged the living daylights out of this company with free options like confetti. Jobs for mates etc. No performance based anything. Then they come up with a dream deal from a ghost company. Derr. This is the beginning of the end OR the beginning of a bright new future. We all wait for proof as the hype wanes.
