MXCOD is an option. So for the current option price, you buy the 'right' to a share that can later be converted into a full share at a flat rate of the exercise price (which is .065 for MXCOD). If you do not pay by the exercise expiry date (June 2019) then you forfeit the options which you haven't exercised them.
They provide increased leverage by allowing you to buy more now than you could the full share, but also greater risk in the fact that you are more exposed, options price can sometimes move in larger percentages as it is at a lower price and there is far less liquidity meaning you can't move in and out as quickly.
