For what it is worth, I have held MXL for a while.
This retracement has happened before, and this latest one is forming around 12.5c as a base. It has formed it much slower than before.
In the past it has moved below this level quicker.
However with all the recent announcements & impending options being exercised I believe we will see some price appreciation in the coming weeks.
If you are happy to buy now & sit tight you should recoup your past losses.
The story on MXL is a great one, and isnt far away from coming to fruition in my opinion
